He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Romane and Dora Irene Romane (Burkhart); and his siblings, Ludeene Sigmon, Jolene Bartee, Ben Romane Jr. and Randy Vossmer.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo; his children, Dorrie Bowen (Ed) and Glen Jr. Romane (Jackie); his grandchildren, Kelly Saegers (Marcus), Gage Romane (Nicole), Shelly Bowen, Cory Romane (Ellianna) and Codi Romane; his sisters, Brenda Wise and Darlene Derringer; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Hunter, McKinlee, Sadie, Riley, Waylon, Wyatt and Colter.
