Eleanor Louise Denney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor Louise Denney of Leavenworth, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Anson; her husband Donald F. Denney; her children, Joey (Janice) of Leavenworth, Duane (Katie) of Leavenworth and Dawn Monroe (Jeff) of Leavenworth; her grandchildren, Mike Denney (Tessa), Michelle Nelson (Ignacio), Lauryn Gorby (Wil), Mitchell Denney, Amanda Warden (Derek) and Blaine Monroe (Jill); and her great grandchildren, George, Fletcher, Pierce, August and Maeve.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (311 N 7th St, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to Paul's Buffet, 7th Street Feast and a scholarship fund or students at St. Paul Lutheran School.
