He was predeceased by: his father Lewis Spangler. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Spangler (Ellis) of Bella Vista, AR; his sons, Beau David Spangler, Ellis Young Spangler (Sydney) and Jeffrey Martin Spangler (Kendal); his siblings, Michael Spangler (Shannon), Lewis M. Spangler (Kenna), Catherine Spangler (Gary Porter) and Douglas Spangler; his stepchildren, Alexandria Steyer (Andrew) and Peter Tremble (Erin); his caregivers, Dr. Haung, Dr. Gan, RNs Emily, Lindsey, Jen, Angela and Ty of St. Croix Hospice; and also Cape Rust. He is also survived by four grandchildren, ten nieces and nephews, and 15 grand-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to Pilgrim Community Church, Leavenworth, Kansas.
