She was predeceased by: her father Clarence E. McCall Sr.; her son Michael Bruce Lackey Jr.; her brothers, Harvey Lee Stevenson, Clarence McCall Jr. and Frank McCall; and her mother Majorie McCall.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Preston (Kim); her husband Michael Bruce Lackey Sr.; her child Frenchie Flowers (Jason); her grandchildren, Madison, Mahkala and Michal; her siblings, Ronald, Christopher'Skip' (Candy), Lisa and Hope (Christopher); and her niece Danette Glover (Chad).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Independent Baptist Church (601 Pottawatomie St, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Donations can be made to the Leavenworth chapter of the NAACP in Cathy's honor.
