He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Henry and Josephine Gertrude Hund (Didde); and his brother Donnie Hund. He is survived by: his children, Bernard Patrick Hund (Monica) of Oklahoma City, Okla, Susan M. Kochman (Jay) of Lee's Summit and Matthew J. Hund (Lisa) of Mclean; his siblings, Mary Jo Nelson (Judy Sloan), Bonnie Pitts of Basehor, Kan., Ken Hund of Shawnee and Carl Hund Jr. of Easton, Kan.; and his grandchildren, Megan, Ethan, Katy Hund (B. Patrick), Anna, Alex, Maddie, Jacob Kochman (Susan), Kyle, Lauren and Luke Hund (Matthew).

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, the Disabled American Veterans "D.A.V", or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
