Betty Ranes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ranes of Le Roy, Kansas, born in Lebo, Kansas, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Everett Basel and Norma Basel (Arnold); her former husband George Arnold Lindsay; her husband Jerry Joe Ranes; her children, Charles Hartpence and Kathy Nelson; and her sisters, Elaine and Ramona.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Lindsay of Auburntown, TN and Karen Dalke (Marty) of Hillsboro, KS; her stepdaughter Lisa Sherwood (Jon) of Westphalia, KS; and her son-in-law Mike Nelson of Philip, SD. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
