He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joseph Welsh and Beatrice Elizabeth Henry Welsh; and his sister Ann Welsh Valant. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Lynn Thomas; his daughters, Kimberly Welsh-Shafer and Theresa Welsh; and his sister Carol Welsh Hanagan.
