He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R. Dolan and Delores A. Dolan; his brother Monte Reed Dolan; and his grandson Tucker Dolan (Jo Ann Dolan). He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Horner; his sister Deborah Skeet (Billy) of Tonganoxie; his son Thomas "Tommy" Dolan III (Trish) of Topeka; and his stepsons, William Haas (Sinthia) of Lawrence and Mike Muilenburg (Valerie) of Salina.

The family suggests memorial contributions go to Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. The family will be donating to an Alzheimer's foundation at a later time.
