It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas John Heleniak of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gertrude Heleniak (Szuchnichi) and Constantine Heleniak; his wife Ruth Cecelia Bunek; his son Jeff; his brothers, Conrad and Robert; his son John (Nicole); and his brother Dan (Olivia). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters' in-laws, and friends.
