He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Hornung and Monica Hornung (Bosman); his wife Alice; and his granddaughter Allison King. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Balagna, Kevin Hornung and Shelley King (Don); his grandchildren, Jeremy Snyder, Joseph Snyder, Joshua Snyder (Stephanie), Emily Janzen (Clint), Morgan Hansen (Josh), Caitlan Hornung (Jenna Andrews), Jonathan King and Michael King; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Noah Snyder, Grace, Owen, Abigail, Benjamin, Clementine Janzen, Carter and Carson Hansen.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ted's name to your local VFW or Lawrence Presbyterian Manor and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
