It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Marie Bellinger of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Arapahoe, Colorado, who passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Kibbee and Musie Kibbee; and her siblings, Kenny, Melvin, Lois and Irene (Dale).
She is survived by: her sisters, Dorothy Delfelder Hetzel and Mary Francis Soetaert; her sister-in-law Carol Kibbee; her children, Peggy Christian of Topeka, KS, Debbie Bellinger of Topeka, KS and Rick Bellinger (Laura) of Lawrence, KS; her grandchildren, Eric Christian, Ricky Bellinger (Maddie) and Ryan Bellinger (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Austin and Natalee Christian.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Visiting Nurses Association of Lawrence, Midland Hospice Care of Topeka or the charity of your choice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044. Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation.
