“Sorry to hear this news! Obviously his words had a great effect on those of us who dealt with him. What else to expect from an excellent English teacher? I last saw him while I attended his mother's funeral in Atchison.. Fond memories of Coach T. Wells! In the fall of 1971 after two FB losses: "Gentlemen, the fun and the good times are OVER!" After catching my sole varsity TD pass that year, for the next week's practice: "So, you think you are BMOC!" Both 😀and 😢. Some of the English he taught!”
