With solemn reverence, we commemorate Teresa Pondrom of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose life came to an end on October 24, 2024 at the age of 73, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Colon-Nieves and Carmen Colon-Nieves; her son Timothy Pondrom; and her siblings, Rolando Colon, Rafael Nieves Colon and Nellie Elsa Addis.
She is survived by: her husband Francis Phillip Pondrom; her children, Helen Strickland (David), Andrea Houghton (Jeremy), Kimberly Kinsfather (Chris) and Michael Pondrom (Caleb Edison); and her siblings, Francisco Colon and Maria Stebbins. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (6001 Bob Billings Pkwy, Lawrence, KS 66049).
