Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stanley Louis Vickers of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 71, on February 13, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Vickers and Ormal Nadine Vickers (Elder); and his siblings, Mark Vickers and Roxie Stallings. He is survived by: his fiancée Diane Jennings; and his siblings, Gary Vickers of Harwood, MO, Bradley Vickers, June Netta Nivens of Jefferson City, MO, Connie Jean Triplett of Portland, MO and Gae Dene Vance of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Cornerstone Family Worship; Wounded Warriors; or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

“You had a wonderful brother and he was a good friend to us. Stan was a cheerful, generous man who loved to network people in business together. He loved to cook and feed people. One summer he started a Thursday dinner club where at least 6-8 couples and sometimes their kids would meet in the ATOP parking lot for a weekly pot luck. This became a regular summer thing for several years, and those of us who attended made new friends as the list of invitees grew. Our whole community will miss him.”
