We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2024, Shirley Joan Walters (Lawrence, Kansas), born in Hutchinson, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Joan Walters to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kieler and Blanche Kieler. She is survived by: her son Russell Walters; her granddaughter Katherine of Lawrence; her daughter Audrey Walters of Mission; and her brother Harold Kieler of Wichita Kansas. She is also survived by three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church on Vermont Street, the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Association, any of the food pantries in Lawrence, or the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
