She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence James and Velma Kathryn Flakus (Perkins); her spouse Leslie "Les" Allan Haupt; and her siblings, Richard Flakus, Charles Flakus, Patricia Jones and Cecelia Flakus.
She is survived by: her sons, Dustin William (Ryan Spiralke) and Teddy; and her siblings, Lawrence Flakus, Jr. (Janet) of Sioux Falls, SD, Eugene Flakus (Glenna) of Lawrence, KS, Mary Stewart (John) of Hutchinson, KS and Barbara Flakus of Overland Park, KS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (946 Vermont St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the LMH Health Cancer Center in care of Wilson's, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
