Shanna Marie Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, at the age of 45, Shanna Marie Smith of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Falls City, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Shanna Marie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Shanna Marie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her parents, Jeffrey Hoppe and Diane Wibberg; her daughter Sierra Marie-LeAndra Smith (Steven Smith); and her pets, Scout and Sophie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cider Gallery (810 Pennsylvania St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
Donations in lieu of flowers are asked to support her favorite dog rescue – Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka, KS.
