He is survived by: his parents, Paul Bashor Thomas (Kathleen) and Victoria Thomas (late Roger Lambson) of Shawnee, KS; his brother Chris Thomas (Cindi) of Baldwin City, KS; his aunt Jan Sheldon (Jim Sherman); his stepfather Donald Hatcher (Paula); and his niece Zoe Thomas. He is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in Scott's name to the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) or a charity of the donor's choice and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
