It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Germaine Bloom of Lawrence, Kansas, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. E. Bloom and Josephine Bloom (Jacomè); her niece Phoebe Harkins; her brother-in-law Dale Harkins; and her brothers, Clifton Bloom Jr. and Phillip Bloom.
She is survived by: her sister Jan Harkins; her niece Sara Oliver (Travis); her great-niece Alyson Oliver; and her niece Christine Moore (Lou).
Memorial contributions may be made in Sally's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Boys Town, Corpus Christi School, Holy Family Catholic Church of Eudora KS, and Friends of Hospice of Jefferson County and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
