It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Marilyn Mitchel of Lawrence, Kansas, born in El Dorado, Kansas, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph O. Hammer and Hazel G. Hammer (Kirk); her husband Farrell Mitchel; and her son Mark Mitchel. She is survived by: her sister Lois (Ron); her daughter Miriam (Paul); and her nieces and nephews, Paula (Jerry), Troy (April), David (Justin), John (Theresa) and Michelle (David). She is also survived by great nieces and great nephews and friends.
