He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Perry Eastman and Lucy Cummins Eastman; his brothers, Clarence Brien, Kenneth "Buddy" Brien, Robert "Bobby" Brien, Jess "Buster" Brien (Agnes Brien Birdfaraway), Delmar Eastman and Richard Eastman (Mervin Eastman); his wife Bernadine Eastman; his children, Caroline Hicks, Perry Eastman (Karen Eastman), Sue Burney Eastman (Keven Bauer), Tim Eastman (Jennifer Eastman) and Bruce Martin (LeeAnn Martin); his grandchildren, Eric Hicks (Margaret Hicks), Kara Hicks, Ryan Eastman, Kate Eastman, Sarah Eastman, Elizabeth Burney, Jason Burney and Kaelyn Eastman; and his great grandchildren, Eniyah Hicks, Tyler Jim, Jaxson "Biscuit" Hicks, Legend Blaylock, Mya Palacio, Nina Palacio and Jordyn Palacio. He was also cherished by his many, many nephews and nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary (120 W 13th St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
