Roger David Lemmons Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger David Lemmons of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Lincoln, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Lemmons and Nellie Lemmons; and his brothers, Bud Lemmons and Max Lemmons. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley (Anderson) of Wakefield, NE; his children, Todd Lemmons (Shelly) of Claremore, OK and Janna Davis (Mike) of Tonganoxie, KS; his sister Lois Rosebrook (Douglas) of Salina, KS; and his grandchildren, Skyler Terry, Logan Terry, Kelsey Chenowith, Mattison North, Jentry Lemmons, Halle Davis and Abby Davis. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Barnett Family Funeral Home (1220 Walnut St, Oskaloosa, KS 66066). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials to the Parkinson's Disease Support Group of Lawrence or to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses (VNA) in his honor.
