He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Campbell and Laura Campbell (Anthony); and his brother Billy Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Trudy J. Rinne; his children, Jon David Campbell and Kristin Lee Palecki (Scott Palecki); and his grandchildren, Joshua Daniel Palecki, Jack Christopher Palecki, Zachary Scott Palecki, Peyton David Campbell, Samuel James William Palecki, Thomas Campbell Palecki and Beau Brooks Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Audio-Reader Network at the University of Kansas.
