He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Robert and Audrey Eva Landis Gentry; his wife Bernice Gwendolyn Robinson; and his sisters, Dorothy Trapp and Marian Lang.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Gentry (Linda) of Porter, TX, Sharon Martin of Lawrence, KS, Teresa Flory (Roger) of Overbrook, KS, Barbara Davis (Tim) of Lawrence, KS and Roger Gentry (Connie) of Lawrence, KS; and his grandchildren, Matthew Gentry, Jessica Gentry Kitzmann, Tracy Bruce, Tim Flory, Brian Flory, Mark Flory, Kimberly Davis, Laura Davis, Megan Heidrich, Taylor Gentry and Riley Gentry. He is also survived by 14 great grand children; and 3 great great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contribution to the Lonestar Church of the Brethren, sent in care of the funeral home.
