Robert E. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Davis and Vera Davis (Reinfeld); his brother Jim; and his wife Linda Michaelis. He is survived by: his son Steven (Katie Davis) of Overland Park; and his grandchildren, Landon, William, Amelia and Hattie.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Bob's name to the Landon Center on Aging (via KU Endowment) or the Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Warren-McElwain provides a full range of services including burial, cremation in our own crematory, entombment, or body donation.
