He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sonja Peterson and Arthur "Pete" Peterson; his stepchildren, Shamayne Tate (Gabriel Locke), Janai Tate (Daniel DiMezza) and Theron Tate (Teryn Tate) of Arvada, Colorado; his stepgrandchildren, Akaya, Zuri Tate Locke, Otavio, Lorenzo Tate DiMezza and Xander Tate; his cousin Scott Peterson; his daughters, Donna Johnson, Paula Fiorucci and Caroline Trowbridge; and also, Austin and Kelly.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Plymouth Congregational Church or to LMH Health Foundation for the Cancer Center expansion, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th, Lawrence, 66044.
