He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gage and Thelma Gage. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Gage (Gerald M. Sass Jr.) of Tualatin, Ore.; his brothers, Dr. George Gage, Paola, Dr. Robert Gage and Kan; and his grandchildren, Samuel and Abigail Sass.
