She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Thomas (Lang) and Phillip Hunter Thomas; and her siblings, Frances, Bob and Bill.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Duckworth (Steve) of Lawrence, Jeffrey Barnard of Denver, CO and Traci Fullerton (John) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Garrett, Jared, Gage, Logan, Cooper, Tarah and Riley; her great grandchild Owen; and her stepgranddaughters, Samantha Isabella and Emma. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of services or flowers, donations can be made in Phyllis' honor to the causes she cared most about: the Lawrence Humane Society and the CARE Closet at Lawrence First United Methodist Church.
