It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip L Woods of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Phillip leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Phillip may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Woods and Sara Woods. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his sons, Tyler (Ashley) of Olathe and Daniel (Lexus) of Lawrence; and his sister Cynthia Kim (David) of Connecticut. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses as they brightened his day so many times, or the Lawrence Humane Society for his love of animals.
