It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Gage Thompson in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Peter Gage may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Peter Gage touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Thompson and Margaret "Peggy" Stevens Thompson; and his brother Leigh Thompson (Judith Johnson Thompson). He is survived by: his wife Judith Johnson; and his sister Linda Hanmer.
Peter rarely left the house once the Covid pandemic hit because of the significant risk due to his acute chronic lung disease.
