It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia J. Coffey (Lawrence, Kansas), born in Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Willhite and Maxine Willhite. She is survived by: her husband Shaun; her children, Christopher Coffey (Natalie) of Lawrence, Patrick Coffey of Bailey, CO and Elisa Burgoon (Alex) of Lawrence; her grandsons, Jaxen, Ryker and Baker; her sisters, Jean Anne Leigh (Tom), Barb Stransky (Frank) and Marcheta Pearson (Rick); and her parents-in-law, Roger and Deana Coffey. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Patty Coffey Grandchildren Educational Fund and sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, 601 Indiana St., Lawrence, KS 66049.
