As we bid adieu to Mildred's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mildred has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Jamella Ice; and her husband Richard Myrle Hogan. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth (Liz) and Virginia (Ginny). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary (120 W 13th St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Visiting Nurses of Lawrence.
