He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Herbert Cone and Lila Lorraine Evans; his siblings, Sandy Smith (Cone), Richard Cone and James Cone (Audrey); and his stepdaughter Sandy Hurlbutt.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly McReynolds (Cone); his son-in-law Michael McReynolds; his grandchildren, Matthew McReynolds, Megan Reinardy (McReynolds) and Morgan McReynolds; his sister Leisa Milford (Cone); and his pet Pepper.
