He was predeceased by: his sister Melinda Jean Johnson; his mother Donna Jean Johnson; and his grandparents, Harry, Marian Carr, James and Ruby Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Andrew Thomas Johnson; his father Karl Madison Johnson; his siblings, Deborah Sue Rouse, Martha Eileen DuBose and Karl Madison Johnson, Jr.; his parrot Alex; and his former wife Jani Burghart (Alana Beer). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
