It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Douglas Kimball Sr. of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Clarence and Minnie Kimball (Clayborne); and his siblings, Geraldine Gunn, Clarence "Sunny" Kimball, Doris Brice, Leslie Kimball, Wesley Kimball and James "Jimmy" Kimball.
He is survived by: his children, Maurice Douglas Kimball Jr., Margaret Elizabeth Kimball (Bobby), Riley and Mickey Allen Kimball Sr.; his siblings, Eleanor Kimbrough, Phyllis Henderson, Bernard Kimball, Margaret Smith, Lowetta Yearling, Martha Tucker, Leon Kimball, William Kimball (Bobby), Karen Reese, Helen McMillion and Larry Kimball; and his grandchildren, Marcus Kimball, Michael Kimball, Anthony Kimball, Alex Kimball Williams, Mickey Kimball Jr., Alyvia Kimball, Alysia Kimball, Angelo Kimball, Kayla Kimball and Austin Mater. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
