We bid farewell to Mary Eugenia Walters (Lawrence, Kansas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 9, 2024 at the age of 75. Mary Eugenia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Nunez and Mary Nunez (Garcia); and her brothers, John Nunez, Michael Nunez and Pablo Nunez.
She is survived by: her sons, John Walters (Teodora Pogonat) and Gregory Walters (Christina); her siblings, Nicholas Nunez and Maxine Nunez; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Gianna, Conner and Owen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church (1234 Kentucky St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
