He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Thomas and Mildred Thomas of Urbana, IL; his brother Steve Thomas of Arcola, IL; and his girlfriend Carol McCaffery (Lawrence). He is survived by: his children, Kent, Lara and Carrie; and his stepson Michael McCaffery (Lawrence).
