He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Mertz; his son Luke of Lawrence, Kansas; his siblings, Cheryl Guadagnio (Chuck) of Macomb, MI, Nanci Webb of Scottsdale, AZ and Ron Thacker (Karen) of Dearborn Heights, MI; and his pets, Milo and Monty. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
