She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Robert Pentland and Katherine Pentland Jr. (McLin); and her former husband David Schwartzburg. She is survived by: her children, Katherine (Ward Strahan) of Prairie Village, Dodge (Melissa Schwartzburg) of Ocala and Laurie McClure of Stevensville. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
