With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorna Jean Brown of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on July 31, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe White and Thelma White (Mumford); her sons, Marlon Lewis and Michael Lewis; and her sisters, Beatrice Fowler, Florene Fowler and Vera Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Dwane Lewis of Lawrence and Sonnja Blevins of Grandview; her grandchildren, Andrew Blevins, Austin, Aydrian Gray, Stacy Guerrier of Oakland and Shann Ali (Mikal Ali) of Charlotte; and her great grandchildren, John F. Cheatem, Lanai Sylvain, Rachel Cheatem and Rebecca Cheatem-Kantarevic. She is also survived by many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
