She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Bond and Rosa Bond; her husband John Peters; her siblings, Miriam Barnes (Roland), Forrest Bond (Evelyn) and Leland Bond; her siblings-in-law, Wilma Bond, Mele Bond and Jeff Cunningham; and her nephew Gary West.
She is survived by: her family, England and British; her children, John Peters of University Place, WA, Barbara Sylvester (Noel) of Wamego, KS, Stephen Peters of Colorado Springs, CO and Michael Peters (Megan) of Colorado Springs, CO.; her grandchildren, Kelley Castaneda (Victor), Dane Sylvester, Logan Sylvester (Andrea), Kelsey Crutchfield-Peters (Benjamin Karin), Sean Crutchfield-Peters, Kayla Peters, Hannah Peters and Jake Peters; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Reese and Nora; and her siblings, Bob Bond (Jovan) of Austin, TX and Sharon Cunningham of Tacoma, WA.
Memorial contributions may be made in Lila's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lawrence Public Library and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
