With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie Paul Atkinson in Lawrence, Kansas, born in Butte, Nebraska, who passed away on January 31, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alfred Atkinson and Esther Amelia Atkinson (Salstrand); his daughter Cynthia Ranae Atkinson; and also, Lawrence and Melvin.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene of Lenexa, KS; his children, Kimberly Tilley (Kyle) of Rogers, AR, Denise Alphson (David) of Lenexa, KS and Brian Atkinson (Lea) of Bel Aire, KS; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Tilley, Brennan Tilley (Lisa), Brooke Tilley, Gabrielle Alphson, Calista Alphson and Brody Atkinson; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Elizabeth Tilley; and his brothers, Charles and Donald.
