He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Romme and Magdalena Romme (Kuhn); his sister Vera; his brother-in-law Paul Schmidtberger; his brothers, Robert, Thomas and Donald; and his nephews, Steven Schmidtberger and Thomas Romme, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Steinbacher; his sons, Bradley of Lawrence, KS and Brett Romme of Lawrence, KS; and his sister Dolores Schmeidler of Hays, KS. He is also survived by several brother-in-law's and sister -in-law's and nieces and nephews.
