It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo Ronald Langlois of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Gardner, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ramona Langlois (Miller); and his siblings, Ernest J. Langlois, Jr., Estelle P. Griffin, Constance L. Hamel, Roland D. Langlois, James L. Langlois, Joan M. Hamel, Jacqueline A. Langlois, Eugene A. Langlois and George Langlois.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Jeanne Schoenwandt (Steve) of Lawrence, KS and Joleen Marie Schaake of San Marcos, California; his sisters, Simone C. Langlois of Gardner, MA, Leonne J. Perrault of Gardner, MA and Paulette T. Bergeron of Kennebunk, ME; his grandchildren, Monica Roberts of Lawrence, KS, Jeff Roberts of Lawrence, KS, Karen Roberts of Lawrence, KS, Sarah Schaake (Aaron Tatko) of San Marcos, CA and Caroline Schaake of Honolulu, HI; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Joseph, Michael, Olivia, Aiden and Liam; and his great great grandchild Ellyus.

“Kathy, Jo, and family, My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time. The hours I spent with Leo during our visits are some that I will treasure, especially our milkshake dates. As a nurse, we are taught that we aren't supposed to become attached to our patients. That rule went out the window the first time I met Leo. Thank you for sharing this special guy with me.
