It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo Lawhorn in Lawrence, Kansas, born in Hereford, Texas, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lawhorn, and Thelma Lawhorn, Sr. (Hagans). He is survived by: his children, Jim Lawhorn (Shelly) of Eudora, Darin Lawhorn (Cheryl) of Meriden, Robert Hagen of Damascus and Linda Mills of Hays; and his siblings, Jerry Lawhorn of Ottawa, Jim Lawhorn (Jean) of Eudora, Lynita Osborne of Osawatomie and Joetta Vowell (Ron) of Carbondale. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS 66451.
