With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lea Hoover of Lawrence, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lea left this world on June 26, 2024, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Lea may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lea touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ada Marie (Mangiarotti) and Charles Ernest Nagel; her children, Rebecca Hilt (Perry) of Wichita, Kan., John Kletchka (Londa) of Amarillo, Texas and Anne Kirchner (Shane) of McPherson, Kan.; and her grandchildren, Christopher Kirchner, Hannah Kirchner and Michael Hilt.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Douglas County Visiting Nurses Association, The Lawrence Humane Society or Meals on Wheels of Eastern Kansas, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1260, Lawrence, Kansas 66044.
