We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2023, at the age of 87, LaVern A. Leiker of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Hays, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo A. Leiker and Angela Leiker (Klaus); his wife Junalie Ann Archer; his siblings, Herbert, Erwin "Erv", Kenneth Leiker and Norine Leiker; and his son Ricky Leiker.
He is survived by: his daughter Karla Cordes of Lawrence; his siblings, Reinhold "Ronnie" Leiker (Diana) of Hays, Art Leiker (Marilyn) of Hays and Erma Dinges of Hays; his grandchildren, Josha Cates (Chris), Shannon, Easton and Kaidon Cordes; and his great grandchildren, Jackie Cates and C. J. Cates. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Prince of Peace Parish or to Pioneer Ridge Assisted Living in Lawrence.
