Larry Sweeter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Sweeter in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on August 12, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jensen; his sisters, Carole Curtis (Jerry Johnston) and Linda (Ron Aten); his daughter Julie Popiel (Paul); his grandchildren, Stephanie Nitzschke (Steven), Kelsey Derochie (Cory), Nick and Keith Popiel; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Faye, Hayes and Asher.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Lincoln County 4-H for the Gerhard and Larry Sweeter Beef and Swine Livestock Loan program to assist 4-H members in purchasing show livestock: P.O. Box 655, Lennox, South Dakota.
