He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Alexander Rowen, Jr. and Frances Rowen (Lichty); his sister Lucille Rowen; and his stepmother Eva Rowen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Robinson; his son Rodney (Colleen Clark); his grandchildren, Geoffrey and Katelyn; his stepsons, Phillip, Steven Clark and Donald (Claudia); his stepgrandchildren, Nadine and Douglas (Samantha); his brother Eugene (Joyce); his sister-in-law Janice Rowen (Edwin); and his siblings, Edwin, Rosina Yager (Ralph) and Delores Brown (Avery). He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to First United Methodist Church or Kansas Lions Sight Foundation in care of Warren McElwain Mortuary, 120 West 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
