She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Solomon and Rachel Solomon (Jordan); and her siblings, Charlie, Nick, Grant and Leona.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve (Huffman) and Mark; her grandchildren, Kayla Altman (Cribb), Kasey Gryszowka (Matt), Ryan Gillihan and Jordan Gillihan; her great grandchildren, Halston, Huntley, Hollis Altman, Grayson, Harlow and Rowan Gryszowka; her daughters-in-law, Kathy Gillihan and Patsy Burkhead Huffman; her brother John (Darlene); and her brother-in-law Mike Gillihan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Katherine's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Meals on Wheels, or Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
